British Parliament Honours Gracy Singh on Mahatma 150th centenary celebrations


Actor-Danseuse Gracy Singh was recently honoured and awarded for her Outstanding Spiritual Initiatives at the British Parliament on the occasion of the celebration of 150 years of Mahatma Gandhi, Non-Violence & World Peace at an event organized by presenting Bharat Conclave 2 (Second Edition).  

Gracy Singh has been spiritually inclined and has been associated with the Brahmakumaris since her mother Verjinder Kaur introduced her to them. She is an active member. “All our lives, we work believing there is a tomorrow. That tomorrow, is in fact today, and Spiritualism should be a way of life for each of us over material pursuits. If we all follow this path of self-actualization, I believe that together, we can create a better country for all,” expressed Gracy Singh. Amen.

The Film fraternity and political figures gathered from the fair to bid farewell to Ganpati Bappa, yes, before the Ganpati Visarjan of Maharashtra  Tourism along With Times of India, Hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde ji, Hon. Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari, Deputy CM Devendra Phadnis, Maharashtra Tourism Minister, Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Dhananjay Sawalkar -- DoT Director arrived specially to perform Bappa's aarti and bow at his feet.  The aarti of Ganaraya was completed at the hands of the dignitaries, Singer Madhushree also was present as special guest.  Madhushree along with Hon. Yashpal Sharma-Pratibha Sharma launch Third Bollywood International Film Festival (BIFF) with presscon at Carnival Cinemas

“A film festival needs to be ethical and impartial, and that is exactly what Bollywood International Film Festival strives to be,” said Bollywood International Film Festival founder-chairperson Pratibha Sharma and actor-director Yashpal Sharma at the media meet of the film festival. Of the 200 plus entries received by the Bollywood international film festival (BIFF), the best were chosen by an eminent team of international filmmakers. The select films from the chosen ones will be on view for audiences at Carnival Cinemas Mumbai from December 17-18. The festival also will showcase a special screening of Yashpal Sharma’s Dada Lakhmi, the Haryanvi film that has won more than 68 awards globally.
