A clean sweep!

On 150th birth centennial month of Mahatma Gandhi, Dr.Aneel Kashi Murarka and Team Ample Missiion undertook a cleanliness drive in Goregaon East. Said Dr. Aneel Kashi Murarka, “It was a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness on the importance of cleanliness. For a better tomorrow, we need to clean our body, soul and environs. Who else could be a beacon of light than our Mahatma!”

The programme will be compered by Smita Gavankar. Apart from the above, the programme brings to you a unique musical extravaganza of Lata didi's popular songs rendered by Ketki Mategaonkar, Savani Ravindra, Priyanka Barve and Vibhavari Apte Joshi with composition by Ajay Madan.  The event is presented by Aryan Institute of Chess and Art Excellence, with special support from MIT-ADT University and is coordinated by Avinash Prabhavalkar of Hridayesh Arts.

हाल ही में, जोश फाउंडेशन ने हियरिंग एड डिस्ट्रब्यूशन्स अभियान में वंचित बच्चों को छह तकनीकी रूप से उन्नत श्रवण यंत्र वितरित किए। इससे पहले प्रसिद्ध ईएनटी विशेषज्ञ डॉ. जयंत गांधी और ऑडियोलॉजिस्ट-स्पीच-थेरेपिस्ट देवांगी दलाल की पहल से, जोश फाउंडेशन ने जरूरतमंद बच्चों के लिए 1,000 से अधिक हियरिंग एड वितरित किए थे।   देवांगी दलाल का कहना है कि "बधिर लोगों के लिए यह एक  महामारी है जो हमारी संस्था इसे नष्ट करने के लिए सजग रहती  है। प्रत्येक डिजिटल श्रवण यंत्र की कीमत 60,000 रुपये है। मुझे खुशी है कि हम इन बच्चों की मदद करने में सक्षम है। युवाओं के बीच बहरेपन को कम करने के लिए हमारे प्रयासों में आपका समर्थन जरुरी है।

While most people chose to ring in the New Year by partying hard and traveling to holiday destinations, here is one woman who brought in 2019 by spreading smiles and giving back to society. Audiologist-Speech Therapist Devangi Dalal of JOSH Foundation, distributed digital hearing aids to 30 hearing-impaired children this New Year’s week at her clinic in Santacruz West.  Devangi Dalal, along with ENT Specialist Dr.Jayant Gandhi, has taken it upon herself to make the country free from the plague of hearing-impairment. She has been instrumental in distributing over 1000 digital hearing aids, thus far, to children from various schools across Mumbai, Nashik and Gujarat, among other cities. “The approximate price of a good hearing aid ranges from anywhere between Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 70,000.
