The Music Video Project (MVP) by MCGM with Kala Ghoda Arts Festival brings to you a celebration of our diverse, creative and inclusive city of Mumbai, The Music Video Project (MVP) Kick Off, powered by 48 Hour Film Project kicked off with dignitaries on July 29, at 5pm at Rude Lounge, Powai with 12 musicians, 70 film teams.

 






An initiative of Mumbai --  City of  Film and UNESCO -- Member of The Creative Cities Network, the music curated by Wobble Creative and Content  Channel Partner -- Pocket Films, the event saw a bevy of dignitaries including
 Brinda Miller,  
 Vivek Bhimanwar, IAS, MD -- Maharashtra Film, Stage & Cultural Development Corporation Limited,  Satish Vasan representing CINTAA, Shashi Bala, Preeti  Gopalakrishnan, Yogi Chopra,  RJ Meera, among others.

Mumbai-based National Award Winning author Aabid Surti, who among many other things is also an incisive environmentalist and accomplished artist, is back in full force. The author of many bestselling books, some of which have even courted controversy, has revisited one of his autobiographical tomes titled 'Sufi – The Invisible Man of The Underworld' and updated it to make it more current. Sriram Raghavan, Shridhar Raghavan and Annie Zaidi were present at the launch. “Sufi,” begins Surti, “is the story of two boys who grew up in the 60s and 70s’ Mumbai’s infamous Dongri area.
