The glitterati of tinsel town descended on the Star Screen Awards that boasted of the who’s who from the industry. The red carpet saw the likes of Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan, VIdya Balan, Kriti Sanon, Myrra, Bhumi Pednekar, Irrfan Khan, Rajkumar Rao and many more at their stylist best. US State Senator, politician, lawyer and Vice-Presidential running mate Kamala Devi Harris has scripted history by being the first Indian-American or African-American woman to be appointed as the Vice-Presidential running mate.  It is a known fact that Kamala Harris has a huge support base in the Indian-American community. Mumbai-based National Award Winning author Aabid Surti, who among many other things is also an incisive environmentalist and accomplished artist, is back in full force. The author of many bestselling books, some of which have even courted controversy, has revisited one of his autobiographical tomes titled 'Sufi – The Invisible Man of The Underworld' and updated it to make it more current. Sriram Raghavan, Shridhar Raghavan and Annie Zaidi were present at the launch. “Sufi,” begins Surti, “is the story of two boys who grew up in the 60s and 70s’ Mumbai’s infamous Dongri area.
