JAS Motion Pictures’ auspicious launch on Ganesh Chaturthi

Ganesh Chaturthi marked the logo launch of JAS Motion Pictures, an interesting venture to promote new talent alongside veterans. The brainchild of famous Tabla exponent Jeetu Shankar, Arvind Agarwal, Somji R Shastri, Marques Xavier, Manish Begrajka, Bhadra Kanaiya & Puneet Chopra, JAS Motion Pictures aims to promote new talent in music, acting and all creative aspects and also JAS Motion Pictures will be venturing into TV serials.

The logo launch was attended by veteran music-makers of the likes of Virendra Shankar Raju Shankar, Deepak Pandit, Ram Shankar, Pradeep Pandit, Sarangi Nawaz Sabir Khan, Sanjay Vidyarthi, Surinder Khan, Kertikeya Tiwari, singers Sujata Trivedi, Aishwarya Majmudar, Sukriti Kakkar and Prakriti Kakkar, actor Nasirr Khan, comedian Shakeel Siddiqui among others. Performances began to herald Lord Ganesha post the launch and went on till wee hours of the morning.

The first offering from JAS Motion Pictures will be with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan on the vocals, set to tune by Piyush Shankar and Rishabh Shankar both of whom are young talented artists.

Post this, five films will be announced by Ravi Rai, Nasirr Khan, Shivam Nair and Marques Xavier. Albums by new singers will follow. Carnival Cinemas will also be a part of the venture.

Pt Hariprasad Chaurasiya, Usha Mangeshkar, Hridaynath Mangeshkar to release Dr Vaze's song VishwaSwaraMauli on Lata Mangeshkar on Dec 29

To mark the 122nd birth anniversary of Bhavgandharva Pt Master Deenanath Mangeshkar, a song VishwaSwaraMauli on Swarkokila Lata Mangeshkar, composed with the blessings and guidance of Hridaynath Mangeshkar, penned by poet Dr Deepak Vaze,   will be released at the hands of Pt Hariprasad Chaurasia and Usha Mangeshkar at Dinanath Mangeshkar Auditorium in Vile Parle on Thursday 29th December 8pm onwards.  cinematography is by Tushar Panke and the label is Times Music. The programme will be compered by Smita Gavankar. Apart from the above, the programme brings to you a unique musical extravaganza of Lata didi's popular songs rendered by Ketki Mategaonkar, Savani Ravindra, Priyanka Barve and Vibhavari Apte Joshi with composition by Ajay Madan.  The event is presented by Aryan Institute of Chess and Art Excellence, with special support from MIT-ADT University and is coordinated by Avinash Prabhavalkar of Hridayesh Arts.

The Film fraternity and political figures gathered from the fair to bid farewell to Ganpati Bappa, yes, before the Ganpati Visarjan of Maharashtra  Tourism along With Times of India, Hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde ji, Hon. Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari, Deputy CM Devendra Phadnis, Maharashtra Tourism Minister, Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Dhananjay Sawalkar -- DoT Director arrived specially to perform Bappa's aarti and bow at his feet.  The aarti of Ganaraya was completed at the hands of the dignitaries, Singer Madhushree also was present as special guest.  Madhushree along with Hon.
