RIFF to felicitate Identity Card actor Prashantt Guptha

The first ever Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF), scheduled to be held on January 18-20 at Jawahar Kala Kendra, announced on Thursday that actor Prashantt Guptha, who won the Best Supporting Actor award for Rahat Kazmi's Identity Card at the San Fransisco Global Movie Festival would be conferred the The Pride Of Rajasthan award.
    On this occasion, Somendra Harsh, founder of Rajasthan International Film Festival, said "We chose Prashantt Guptha for not just his acting skills but also for his overall persona. This award goes to a person who excels as a human being as much as an actor. Within a small span of time, Guptha has managed to carve his own niche in Bollywood. We are looking forward to his growth in this New Year and are proud of this young man who hails from our state."

Yashpal Sharma-Pratibha Sharma launch Third Bollywood International Film Festival (BIFF) with presscon at Carnival Cinemas

“A film festival needs to be ethical and impartial, and that is exactly what Bollywood International Film Festival strives to be,” said Bollywood International Film Festival founder-chairperson Pratibha Sharma and actor-director Yashpal Sharma at the media meet of the film festival. Of the 200 plus entries received by the Bollywood international film festival (BIFF), the best were chosen by an eminent team of international filmmakers. The select films from the chosen ones will be on view for audiences at Carnival Cinemas Mumbai from December 17-18. Chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde ji, Hon.
