Singer Preety Bhalla and entrepreneur husband Deepu Paul threw a lavish party at their place in Andheri West for their friends from the industry to bring in New Year 2015 and also to celebrate their anniversary which just went by. Hotelier Vicky Tejwani and photographer wife Shruti Tejwani, designer Amy Billimoria, Farhad Billimoria, actors Rajesh Khattar, Hiten Paintal, Priya Bathija, Surabhi Prabhu, Vipul Shah of Optimystix Entertainment, Alex O Neill, Vasant Bhandari, Preeti Mamgain, Dr.Siddharth Khosa, Rashmeet Kapoor, Dr.Shenaz among many others walked in to spread cheer at the party. US State Senator, politician, lawyer and Vice-Presidential running mate Kamala Devi Harris has scripted history by being the first Indian-American or African-American woman to be appointed as the Vice-Presidential running mate.  It is a known fact that Kamala Harris has a huge support base in the Indian-American community. Mumbai-based National Award Winning author Aabid Surti, who among many other things is also an incisive environmentalist and accomplished artist, is back in full force. The author of many bestselling books, some of which have even courted controversy, has revisited one of his autobiographical tomes titled 'Sufi – The Invisible Man of The Underworld' and updated it to make it more current. Sriram Raghavan, Shridhar Raghavan and Annie Zaidi were present at the launch. “Sufi,” begins Surti, “is the story of two boys who grew up in the 60s and 70s’ Mumbai’s infamous Dongri area.
